I want to test a login to sql server at the time the end user enters their user id and password. I have copied the code from Microsotf knowledge base article 155304. The problem is that even if I use a bogus password the connection is being returned as successful but then when I try to use the connection to query the database I get the error meesage that log in failed. Any idea why it would return successful using SQL Connect and then fail when I actually try to utilize the connection?
