Probably not - but you are looking for a fairness argument - and fairness has nothing to do with it. Ken pretty much laid out the issue - he can only advice. i.e. - he cannot strong arm them.
Comparing .NET to Fox is like comparing apples to oranges..
The fact is - whether and to what extent Fox appears on various MS web pages will not affect things one way or the other...
Of course - the self-described delusional rantings of at least one person would beg to differ...< bg >...
