In the MSKB there is one particular sentence that I dislike intensely, at least if it refers to outright bugs: 'This behaviour is by design.'

I mean, a bug is a bug is a bug and to people at the receiving end it does not matter a whole lot whether it was committed by a mere programmer or by somebody who got earns a lot more. Of course, the real message is actually 'We are aware of the problem but it won't be fixed. HAND.' and that is what really gets me down. ;-)
