>>Still, trying to make us believe that you guys (MS) are not seeing. controlling, evaluating or doing whatever is necessary to make sure that what appears on web site of your sister companies around the world reflect your line of thinking, to promote your products effectively.

>>About that lack of publicity on VFP 8. You say that it because VFP is not sold a lot in Italy. Could it be the other way around. That is because there is not enough advertisement of the product? Why would anyone enquire or want to buy a product when they don't know that it exists?

Glad to know that. I'll start my Microsoft web site for the province of Quebec tomorrow. And who knows what I'll talk about. I was worrying I could'nt have your OK on this. But apparently you don't really worry nor care about the content of those "Advertisements site"

>I suggest you find me one developer in Italy who does not know about VFP 8.0 who is interested in it.

??? How can you be interested by something when you don't know it exists?

> This is not an issue, you are making it one out of non-relevant and fictional hypothetical assumptions. If you hae any concerns, I suggest you take some time to invesitate the issue yourself rather than making false accusations.

Accusations? To me it's just normal business. don't you want the information vehiculated about your company to be correct?

Here's my overall take on this. Let's imagine I'm on top of a successfull software business. I have several titles. Some are more successfull than others.

Another company wants to be authorized to distribute my software. Not only that but they want to be recognized in their country as the only authorized distributor of my software.

To me it seems just normal that I'll want them to follow some rules. Among those is that they'll have to mention all the software I have available even those less successfull. Who know perhaps a software that is less popular in my country could become a good seller in their country for whatever reasons.

Now it seems to me that the person responsible for marketing of VFP at MS (Main office) could use all his power to tell the folks in Italy to mention everything because it's their responsability to do so.

I want to be clear on this reply. I don't have much information so perhaps I'm way out of target on what I'm saying. Anyway again I only hope that with those exchanges the end result will be a better marketing for VFP. Isn't it what the main goal of this thread is all about?

Better marketing. Excuse me for that I should've said marketing <bg>
