Yes, I think people should focus on issues that actually matter and make a difference. If this topic was a big deal, it wouldn't be the way it is now. Sales of VFP are not generated from localized web sites, and VFP 8.0 is only available in English anyway. All that matters is http://msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro.

As for educating Microsoft folks in the field (in various cities and countries), this morning I had a mass email sent to "all" Microsoft field representives for developer tools world-wide about the localization toolkit results for VFP 8.0 mentioned in my letter this month. Next month, I have plans to send out more information to Microsoft field representives including new data sheets, slides, and samples on VFP 8.0 for them to use and learn more about VFP 8.0 from. In fact, next month, more education will be done on VFP to Microsoft employees outside of Redmond than in many years.

Something to consider... VFP 8.0 has been out for 10 months, and only now people are noticing that VFP 8.0 is not listed on a few web sites that are localized in a language that VFP 8.0 isn't even available in. I think the reason it took so long for only one person to notice is because nobody uses those sites to find out information about a product that sells in an English version only and they all go to the main msdn.com home page for information. The only reason that a few people saw some other sites without VFP 8.0 mentioned in a localized language is due to this thread. I don't know of a single case of someone not upgrading to VFP 8.0 due to the fact some localized web site was not updated for it. The fact that this issue has come up almost a year after VFP 8.0 was released helps show that it is a non-issue.
