I found this too.

I posted something about the combobox giving an "OPT:3/18" message with SET NOTIFY CURSOR OFF earlier today.

I believe I have found a partial work-around to these:

For the 'I':
Depending on how you obtain data, you can put SET NOTIFY CURSOR OFF in the Load, Init, or Activate events. For some reason it shows AFTER you've obtained data.

For the combobox (This might also apply to listboxes.):

In Interactive change, put SET NOTIFY CURSOR OFF. This also takes care of the bold 'I' that shows up too.
