It might be better for you to not feel there is so much importance behind exact numbers of MSDN usage in a specific area. We have very good data on general usage of MSDN, and that is good enough for us. Plus, if an area is using MSDN like Italy, then it comes with VFP 8.0 and there is no loss in sale/use of VFP 8.0 due to a web site not being localized in the Italian language, thus making the localized web site even more of a non-issue. You can question the marketing and sales tactics all you want, or whine about them, but it won't change anything.

To be blunt, things are not done for charity reasons, like putting localized web sites together for areas where sales are projected low for a region based on solid data. But instead, decisions are generally made based on profit, putting things in a higher priority that generate the highest profit. You are a very smart guy Jim, and when I see messages posted from you like this, it makes me wish you spent this kind of energy on things that will actually help or make a difference for VFP and the community.
