Yes, Netware can have FILES issues. I typically configure workstations for 150 files in config.sys or config.nt. I recall that there were issues where the net.cfg file also needed it's FILES set to a corresponding high value also but it appears to no longer be the case with current and recent past Netware Clients. I'm assuming they now set a higher default value or default to the DOS/OS environment value.
