Alan,
>I have a windows app that has a form based on wwMaintenanceForm. On the properties page of the form, I have a mmDataGrid (similar to OrderDetail in the DevGuide jump start). I followed the DevGuide and everything seems to be in sync. Now instead of doing the editing in the grid (like the example in the devguide), I have an edit button under the grid to launch a child form. I am passing a reference to the child bizobj to the new form and all of the controls are being populated. However, the child form always displays the first record in the grid regardless of what row the grid is on. I am having trouble getting the child bizobj to navigate correctly. What is the proper way to make the grid and the bizobj sync up? Also, if I know what the primary key for the record I want to go to, is there a way to navigate the bizobj to that row?
Does the child form also have a grid or does it simply have controls for editing the current record on the parent form?
