After your initial post - I took a second look at the VFP desktop - and noticed the control toolbar buttons and the "standard" menu buttons are [also] XP themed. (took a while:)

And now - I realize what you were saying. I like the ocx toolbars (the button menus, etc), plus the fact they can hook to any form! We sould get an MSCOMMCTRL version 7 or 8.

I wonder if Mr. Levy could help us in this regard?

If you make progress with that, please let me know. OCX 6 is dated - and if you can find a function - even if it's extra work (like coding BMPs in VFP 6 menus), I would appreciate anything you could share.

Next time you see Ken's (Stewart's, even!) handle (I will), lets press him about an updated OCX, or get some advice for a workup.
