Not sure what you mean by "whats involved" but, I use Twinbridge (Japanese) in VFP 6/7/8 and it works fine.

The forms, tables, and reports all in Japanese ... and the tables will sort in Japanese too (not English a,b,c... order). I don't think it would be any different in Chinese.
