I've already got an Enterprise SQL Server from a previous project I developed in the UK.

Have you heard anything about the future of MSDE? I vaguely recall reading that it wasn't going to survive, post-Yukon. The upside as far as I can see is that with MSDE, I only have to use one codebase with one set of stored procedures etc. Using a VFP/SQL combination, I have to code for both environments.

I don't expect there to be any intensive processing of data in this application, i.e. long running SP's, however when you refer to getting round the query governor limitation in MSDE, are you simply referring to having good atomic procedures, or is there another way?
