Can you give examples of people disagreeing with factual statements you make- it seems to me that most of the facts are barn-door obvious.
Re annoyance: we all know that the only certainties in life are taxes and death; but people would get annoyed if somebody came here every day to warn that death comes like a thief in the night, labelling us deluded/blinkered/whatever because we apparently refuse to accept it. I know this is how your "scorned prophet" behaviour appears to some people.
