Considering the best support comes from places like this - what is your point? What exactly is your goal? Is this yet again, another issue re: marketing, support, longevity, etc.? And - when is the last time you ever called MS for support?

FWIW, your proposed question of to "reindex a table" is poor - and it is a trick question to. Anybody who has a clue will first tell you the reindex command is junk - and that instead - one should drop and recreate indexes from scratch.

The fast-pentium problem that existed with FPW 2.6 was a classic case of where MS tech support needed to be involved. Questions re: syntax are best handled via the help file, KB, peer to peer support, etc. The is precisely one reason why the MVP program exists.

You really do leave me scratching my head....
