Last year, a friend of mine was visiting home. He brought each of the guys in the old team a T-shirt - and the biggest guy there complained he's got a XL, while everyone knew he's a XXL. "Just try it on", the first guy said. And it did fit.

What's the trick? American sizes are one greater. American XL == European XXL.

Not only is "thin" relative...
