You are kidding....right??? I believe it is you fighting the case-study war currently. And more than a few continue to fight the "Fox was ignored again" war. And others fight the "Fox got dissed again" war.

Jim - you do understand that whether Fox dies tomorrow, lives on for 5 more years - or if MS decided to start promoting the hell out of it - my world does not change one iota. Do you understand that long ago - I cut my dependence on the fate of Fox? I do not have a desire that Fox gets snuffed tomorrow. I really could care less.

Jim - I have only been interested in one thing - and one thing only. That Jim is to provide the other POV for those who are faced with important decisions to make. Why is this so hard for you to understand?

By the way, you have posited the correct question. What you have wrong is the recipient. When you ask why VFP's future demise is so important - you should ask yourself that question. Don't you understand Jim...you are so tourqed up over it that you will go to ANY length to fight the battle. The latest battle with the case study I have to say had its entertainment value. I liked your sarchastic re-write. The interesting point - and one that Ken alluded to is that if you are going to bitch - then why not do something about it? Why not submit your own case study? That said, I don't want to slam you because you have contributed (more than many) - in the way or articles, etc.

Keep in mind that just because there are times when I don't think Fox is the right choice - it does not mean I want to see Fox die tomorrow. How long Fox continues to live is totally 100% out of my control.

Keep VFP growing??? That implies there is current growth. Jim - EVERY aspect of the Fox world has been in a continuing decline for the past 7+ years. I challenged Steve himself to come up with one net positive trend in the Fox World. About the only thing I got was that the Fox World is not doing any worse than other tools. First - that was a crock of crap that was not supported by 1 iota of evidence and 2 - it never came close to meeting my challenge.

Jim - if you want to waste time in your efforts - be my guest. BUT - when it comes to others having to make a decision - and all they would have to go on is the 1 sided ramblings of people like yourself - then I have an obligation to provide balance to that discussion. And - when you decide to attack Ken for what is largely out of his control - then I'll do B-Slap you just like I did to the likes of Whil (AKA the head of the Raelian Fox to Linux Movement).

Now...instead of crying like an ill-tempered 2 year old who is not getting his way - be the logical critical thinker you claim to be an mount some counterpoints to what I have said. I understand it is a difficult task. But one thing is for sure - making the almost knee-jerk response that I do nothing more than setup and take down strawmen is total BS. To date, Mr. Sanders has not shown 1 single instance of me doing that - claims that is all I do nothwithstanding.

If you think your POV has more merit - then defend it. Otherwise - pull up your tent-stakes and move on. If you have a problem with what I am saying - then take it up with Michel. I have and am following the rules. I am doing nothing more than responding to your specific attacks against me - either direct or indirect. And - as long as you make claims and pronouncements - you should be prepared to defend those comments.
