The good news is they are not. Microsoft is going to release VFP 6.0, codenamed 'TAHOE', possibly this autumn. From various MS press releases, there are no plans to discontinue VFP at all which is why it is now even included in the MS Visual Studio pack. So, don't lose heart!!
