Yes, I think you'll find that you need to manually call the grids Refresh method after you've inserted the new record.

You will also find that when you call Refresh, the record pointer in the grid will move to the new record. If you don't want that to happen I would suggest that, before adding the new record you assign the current record number to a variable or form property and then after inserting the new record, set the record pointer back to whatever is in the variable.
