I have several programs that produce reports and letters using the ??? command and send text and escape sequences directly to the printer. Do you know if I can print a BMP or other graphic file to a printer in this fashion, or how I might have a workaround?

I am quite sure you can print directly to the printer, but this looks rather complicated. "???" sends printer commands directly to the printer, without interpretation by the Windows printing system.

You would have to find the printer commands for printing graphics, for your specific printer. For a bitmap, you will probably have to send the graphics a few dots at a time.

While this is possible, I don't think it is worthwhile; I only use "???" for fast printing in text-mode, when there are NO graphics involved.
