>>I'm about to send out some software to a client overseas, so they're going to have to install my application on their network. I have only ever installed my applications myself on a network. When installing it myself on a network, I would usually write an extra little setup program, which I run on a workstation from the server, just for getting the VFP.dll files on the workstation. Then I manually create a new shortcut and point to the network directory. Is there a neater way of doing this? I know there is a Netsetup option in the Setup Wizard, but all that does is stick the files in one directory as far as I know.

After reading through some previous queries, I should stress that all I want to know is: how can I get the "dummy" setup program which installs the DLL's on a workstation etc., to point to my executable automatically?
Rene.
