Good thought, but unfortunately it doesn't help.

I did a little more research and found that they've got a newer version of the control that's MUCH nicer (actually, a whole different version). The new version works just fine, so I think I'm going to go that route (unfortunately that means replacing a bunch of code that's written already). However, I'd much rather have code that works all the time instead of just most of the time ;-)
