Hi Rex,

I've asked a couple of questions here. Yes, I see the help topic you referenced and I see how to overide the methods when I don't want to use the default tables. Glad to hear that you have a working example of how to do that, <g>! That's seems staight forward enough, thanks.

The other question, how to programmactically create. We're planning on collecting the users name/password/email and automatically set them up in the system when thy click on a 'Create Account' button. The data will be placed in memory and ready to process from that button's click event.

So if I used the default MM tables, are there any framework methods to help me create a new user automatically using the collected data? Do you automatically ad users in your scenerio? Simple enough to do without framework assistance really, but if it's built in I'd liked to use it.

Thanks,

>>I'm evaluating MM.Net for a project I'm working on. I'm looking at the Dev Guide for info on the Security in the framework. What I didn't find was info on how I could programatically/automatically add users to the security tables at runtime. We don't really want to use the built in UI classes for this. How would I approach this task? Are there any built in methods to do this?
>>
>>Also, can I implement my own security tables instead of the default MM tables? I actually don't need "roles" in my app, we only need 2 tables, access level and users. Would I be better off rolling my own stuff and trying to hook it into MM for this simple requirement? Is this possible?

>As for the tables go to Application Security - Security Business Objects. It explains how you can use your own tables. We don't use the default tables (i.e. employees vs. users) and it works fine.
