You are right, but I think there may be something secret in behind.
I suspect that there is secret portion in the FoxPro conract. If M$ won't keep alive FoxPro product, (i.e.: new version in every 2 years) the ownership of the product will go back to Fox Group.
I am an absolute VFP fan since ver 2.0, but I do not understand what the bussiness is for M$ in VFP today.
