Can people who have done it suggest the most efficient way of supporting the use of multiple language labels on forms please?

I need to design an application which can be customised visually at runtime to use a different set of labels.

I vaguely recall something in FoxPro Advisor which mentioned this, however I don't have access to my back issues as I'm out onsite for a few days. I seem to remember that you have to be able to accomodate the label changing length due to the language changing?

Any help much appreciated.
