> 1. Does the launcher have the ability to handle multiple updates?
For example, a FTP server would have 2 (or more updates) existing at the same time:
a.) upgrade end user from version 2.01 to 2.02 of an app
b.) upgrade from 2.02 to 2.03
Good questions. I need to include these in the documentation.
It is not impossible, but I have not impliemented the timestamp aspect of the FTP site as of yet (one of the reason it is version 0.90). But the functionality is there in the FTP.prg file. The launcher goes to the FTP site and downloads a file that contains the file to update. Currently, all files are overwritten from the FTP site. But, if the local copy of the Files.txt is the same as that at the FTP, no files are download. They are assumed to be up to date. As for the first part of the question. The Files.txt informs the launcher which files to download and what to do with them. You can define one or more files in the list.
2. Can the launcher handle different types of updates (i.e. multiple FTP locations)?
No. This is on my current To Do list.
