I am just wondering what sort of performance issues anyone here has experienced (if any) with web services created using IIS, SOAP, and Visual FoxPro COM Servers. Basically, I want to create a web service for one of my apps that creates a cursor from a query, creates an xml string from the cursor, and returns the xml string to the user. That is easy enough and the example in the vfp help file seems to work fine. My webservice is not going to be one that the users use frequently. I am just wondering will it be a big deal on the server side if 10-20 users are hitting it at once grabbing a few hundred records at a time? In my mind, I wouldn't think so but I just want to know if anyone here has run into performance issues.
