Hi Simon,
Have you tried opening up the problematic PRG in a hex editor along with another PRG that opens without problems (in VFP) to see if there are any hidden characters?
You may have positive results by printing out the code, then typing it into a new PRG, assuming that there is nothing in the code itself that would cause the C5.
