Since nowadays everybody talks about XML for crossing tiers and communication across many boundries, perhaps it is time to remember very old array goodies: I sometimes use array's to transport state information between 2 foxpro processes by saving an array to memo and reading that meo field in the other process from that semaphore file. Works like a charm even when using vfp and fpw together. You can exchange ***a lot*** of info this way in a very short amount of time.

Kinda poor [pure?] vfp array serialization...
