Well it could be loss of face of course, or lack of features or having to make compromises in other parts of your application...

But none of these mean that it is better to spend 6 weeks(months) writing your own version of something that is tried, tested and proven by others.

Mind you, my recent experiences with Foxfix tend to be the opposite experience...
