Thanks Tracy.

>I think multi-user issues you have to handle on your own. What we do is, typically if one user is attempting to open a file and it is corrupted so foxfix has to repair it, the 2nd user that attempts to open the file will get a message that the file is opened for exclusive use by another user. Our tables are all opened by a .prg which the user runs when they want to open a table with parameters like tablename, exclusive, alias, tab order, etc. It checks for errors when the table is attempted to be opened and if an error is returned, that message is delivered to the user. It is that program that also fixes the table on the fly if possible and if not, then it runs our app that will repair the table manually.

>>OK thanks for the ini file example. I worked through yours and the default one that FoxFix creates and experimented with all the various options. You were right about that ini entry that deletes the log files. I have it working and using a custom ini file to suit the needs of the app. Thanks for your help.
