I would try to delete foxuser.dbf before digging any deeper.

>Several times I've crashed VFP when moving mouse focus from a VFP window to VFP's always-on-top "Find" dialogue. Seems to happen when I want to plant the mouse curser in its text box and select text to search for, and instead I miss the textbox and click-drag the mouse cursor across the dialogue box. Boom. Especially seems to happen when I'm coming from the Document View window. Anybody else noticed this?
