The initial results of D-flat versus VFP were 10.0143 vs 40 to 70 milliseconds, but pretty soon someone argued that the VFP version of the code was far below optimal. Several suggestions were made on how to improve it, we started benchmarking... but this is still between various ways of doing it in VFP. The results are just relative speeds between the variants of VFP solutions. You may want to peek at message #861886 - that's probably the best VFP result in this one.
