As I mentioned a good framework insulates you from their changes and improvements. In the case of DynaZIP, as long as I keep using their version that works for me and I like, I'm OK. There's no urgent need for me to try newer versions which might break something if the current functionality covers me and more.
Sure.. I am in the other side of this history.. I believe that some experiences (like mine) help in some way those manufactors (of small utilitaries) to don't step into some extreme changes of work's philosophy.
But, I still don't want to have any other experience like that..
