Thanks for the UT thread! I tried the code in the thread, but just can't seem to get it to work. The header highlight and the current cell highlight are working fine. However, the Setall and specific column dynamicbackcolor changes are not coming through. Since I am working in VFP 8, I turned off (xp) THEMES as that seems to create some nuances for colors, etc.

It sounds like I might just have a setting or something set wrong...probably true, since I've been pounding the poor grid ALL DAY LONG!!
