>I user Windows 95 shortcut keys for all my primary applications. My shortcut to VFP.EXE is Ctrl+Alt+Y. The shortcut itself is on my desktop. I can press Ctrl+Alt+Y to start VFP, but if I switch to another application, I can't switch back to VFP using Ctrl+Alt+Y. For all my other apps, including a DOS window, Explorer, Multiedit and FoxPro 2.6 Win, the shortcut key will start the app and will also switch to that app once it is running. I have to use Alt+Tab or the mouse to get back to VFP though. Does anyone know why VFP 5.0 doesn't work with windows shortcut keys?
This is very interesting. What I find is that if I hit the VFP shortcut key - a new instance of VFP fires up. In other apps - if the shortcut has already been activated - the window for that app becomes active.
This may be a bug with VFP.EXE.
