look for DDE in the docs and examples. FPW used DDE to communicate with other programs, and this probably still works. Another possibility to check out should be Rick Strahl's utility to call 32-Bit functions. Perhaps communication through more stable activeX means can be established. Third possibiblity is a straight port to VFP and using activeX from there. Straight ports are easier than you probably think and open up most of the options of vfp.
