I retried on a new form and it does not work. Yes it works when the control is enabled=.T. but not when it is enabled=.F. (but you can still scroll normally).

I just found the locked property when I wrote this post after thinking about it and it works as I want so thanks for the help..

My solution was to leave

enabled=.T.
and set
locked=.T./.F. when I want to enabled/disable the control.
