I have seen a simular problem to that when I try to save a record where the memo field data is corrupt. I created a program that copied the structure of the file then record by record moved the contents from one file to the other. I recorded when I got the error in a third file and when I got the error I exited Foxpro and restarted the program at the next record. I found that in version 2.6 memos that are over 1500 lines long are subject to this kind of corruption more often.
