I tried using tableupdate() as the last step in the SCAN ENDSCAN loop, but it had no affect on the process. It updated one record and then stopped without any error or any notification that there was a problem.

I can enter the commands in the command line to update the record and skip to the next record and it works just fine. When I put it in a SCAN ENDSCAN loop it flies into the wall.
