Hello Evan,
Situations like yours are tough, a few good consulting jobs can make up for being a slave to the 'system' :)
>>I work for a company with about 80 employees, 40 Computers, 13 Million in sales. In addition to VFP programming, I manage most of the tech issues including Network Admin, Security, Help Desk, IP Phone System, Etc. I just was informed I will be receiving a 9% raise and a $3000 Bonus and I feel my job is extremely secure and can stay in VFP as long as I determine it is the way to go.

>Congrats. Working in a hospital (like most government type employees) we got 0%, 0% and cost of living (1.5%) for the last 3 years. I am pretty sure bonsus are frowned upon in the public sector. Having the free time to do a bit of consulting (I work 8 hours a day, 9 days ever two weeks), gives me a bit time for some consulting and some more money.

>Working with VFP and ASP.NET (C#) 50/50 now. Looking at moving to more SQL Server, so my Visual FoxPro percent will decrease a bit. I can't see abandoning Visual FoxPro for heavy lifting in the business tier.
