Yeah I've used genDBC for this purpose in the past. My reservation is that the last time I generated a program to build my database for a client, in VFP7, the result didn't work (It had worked fine for me in the past in VFP3).

Anyhow, the problem has been resolved now (see up in thread). Thanks again for your input.

>Check the code generated by Gendbc - you have the code for setting the relations there. And to remove relations before indexing (so your dbc would still be valid while you're manipulating indexes), you can edit a copy of those lines to DROP FOREIGN KEY before you do your indexing. Tried, works.
