First step is to contact as many similar-interest developers/users in your area and setup an Oragnizational Meeting. At that meeting you need to decide on a meeting date and time and it should always [as much as possible] be the same each month like the first Thursday evening of every month at 7:30pm which is when ours meets. Select a day and time that best serves your members. You can click on your Country's flag above to get a list of potential members you can start to contact first.

I also recommend going to the UT User Group Tracker area and look at several of the UG web sites to get an idea of what each group does at their meetings. Some groups have annual dues, some charge a fee for each meeting, and others charge nothing at all. Some of this depends on whether the meeting site is free or will cost the group each meeting. Most UGs can find a place that will not charge for a meeting room. Your biggest problem after getting enough members, may be finding a suitable place to meet.

You may also need a projector so the speaker can display the computer screen on the wall or screen.
