Guten Morgen Christof,

no, size is not an issue. i just started to play around with it since this xml thing is a big thing and it's beeing used now these days in many areas.

my main interest is for a manufacturing app i am currently working on, since i've heard that there might be a chance xml will replace (or at least be a strong competion to) edi.

the size problem was only by coincidence, as i said - just playing around, getting a feel for it and see what the results are.

Thanks for educating me on that subject. if you (or anyone else ofcourse) got any websites for further studing on this subject i would greatly appreciate any input (in english or german).
