Hi! I am taking some slow steps trying to learn ASP.NET!

I am using forms authentication, so I open a browser and go to my home page called main.aspx. On this page I have a link that launches a new instance of the browser with javascript and opens my login.aspx page. I am doing this so I can control the environment and disable back and forward buttons.

The trouble is that once I have logged in I find that on my homepage I can navigate to restricted pages aswell as in the new window I have opened!

Is there anyway to prevent this happening?
