Did you give it the same name as original report or any other report included in EXE, by any chance? In wich case USE command would open report table (.FRX) from EXE disregarding any path specified.

That is, using your suggestion, I can copy the .frx file to a temp file. Then I open temp file (with USE (lcTemRepName)) but I get error when trying to "replace pagebreak with .T.". I checked that the temp file is on the disk. And in fact, I can edit it from the VFP command window but not from the run-time exe.
