I am setting up a laptop. I have my foxpro application that accesses files on our LAN. I tried using XP's offline file options so that a user could access my networked data while on the road. Read only of course.

But when I synchronize the files it always skips tons of data files. even foxuser.dbf. It says that this kind of file cant be synchronized. Is there a way to use this just to copy the file over so that it can be viewed but not changed.

Or do I have to do it the old fashioned way and copy the files manually over to a 'faked' network drive.
