It is no less tactless than Tamar slamming people for using a word that in spite of not being in the American Heritage Dictionary - is still a legitimate word to use.

In fact - I added significantly to the debate by pointing out WHY the word choice is appropriate and why her hard-line stance is at best - unreasonable.

It is amazing how you have decided to save the swift critisism for me - and saved nothing for Tamar. Too bad the lot of you do not have the cujones to take her to task....

Her response to Dragan - IMO - was about as rude as it gets. If you want out of line and over the top - then her telling Dragan to "do the English Language and me a favor...". And - to say that her opinion of a writer would be lessened if he used the word recurse - that too is ignorance to the n'th degree.

And BTW, I capped it with a sigh - not a smiley. < s >...
