In spite of the fact I do not need to defend myself on this - for purposes of the exam, the only relevant version is VFP 6. As for what I actively use, that would be VFP 7.

I did not say that. I said that knowing the facts about a toolkit is but one component. For example, somebody could give a lecture on using sql, new language features, automation, etc. But the key component to being a good developer in those areas is whether you have actually applied that in real pratice - in real applications that have successfully been placed into prodution.

You know...I use a variety of tools. Your "logic" here is that just because I eschew DBF's as a rule, I am not a thinker. Well guess what..I am good enough of a thinker to waste time spinning the analytical wheel over and over again.

Of course, if I said to you I use VFP for everything - your probably would not find fault with that...< s >.
