Well, I don't hold out much hope of coming up with a better solution if you didn't, but I do have it posted on Tek-Tips, per Craig's suggestion, and if I don't get an answer there, I'm going to pursue it with Business Objects. If nothing else, maybe we can get them to acknowledge the stupidity of the design and change it in a future release.

If I get anything positive in either regard, I'll let you all know.
