About the only way I can think of to do this in VFP7 would be to put lots of checks for IF EMPTY(This.MyErrorProperty) throughout the code after expected failure points.

VFP8's TRY...CATCH would make that easier, but it doesn't seem to be an option for you at the moment, right?
